for one night or longer. Julian, I can’t root for you
because I see men on both sides playing war games
and playing with each other. But you’re also our best bet.
As for the hackers who took down Visa and Mastercard and PayPal –
I wish it were easier to know what to build.
Like how to make a government without violence,
and which crops besides opium grow in such a harsh climate.
I wish the hackers had found how to reach those boys now,
the ones who danced, veiled, one-named, vague except for this detail:
oldest, age 15; youngest, age 8.
